Description

Many Tesla owners have used EVANNEX Performance Pedal Covers for accelerator and brake pedals for Model S to make them stand out and give them a performance feel. Now, you can do the same for the foot rest “dead pedal”—the location next to the accelerator and brake pedals where you rest your non-driving foot. Made to correspond with the brushed metal look of our performance pedal covers, the foot rest dead pedal combines a brushed metal look with black rubber strips to provide sure, non-slip usage.  They're easy to install and give your Tesla Model S interior a distinctive, performance look.

EVANNEX Foot Rest Dead Pedal Covers have been designed and manufactured specifically your Tesla vehicle. These covers have a brushed metal look with black ribbed anti-slip strips — conforming to the interior design language of your Tesla. They bring the brushed aluminum trim finish that accents Tesla vehicle interiors into the lower driver compartment, providing a performance look that will make you smile every time you open the driver side door.

For the best interior look, we recommend that you use the EVANNEX Performance Dead Pedal Cover in conjunction with our Performance Pedal Covers for the accelerator and brake pedals.

Specification

Foot Rest “Dead Pedal” Covers are fabricated with a brushed metal look and black anti-slip ribs. For Model S, the foot rest dead petal cover is machined to fit the Model S dead pedal shape. An engraved Model S logo is provided on the upper half of the dead pedal surface. It has built-in anti-slip ribs. The Model S Dead Pedal Cover is 14in. L x 3 in. W x 0.25 in. T (35.5 cm L x 7.5cm W x 6.5 cm T). Non-slip black rubber ribs protrude approximately 0.125 in. (3 mm) above the dead pedal surface. In the case of Model S, the foot rest dead pedal cover adheres directly to the rubberized floor covering on the dead pedal using adhesive specifically formulated for that purpose.

Fitment note:  Some Model S vehicles delivered in 2018-2019 have a shorter foot rest length. Before you order your Foot Rest Dead Pedal Cover, measure the length of the foot rest surface along the incline. If the length of the foot rest is less than 14 inches (36cm), our Foot Rest Dead Pedal Cover will NOT fit properly and should not be ordered.

FAQ

Is the EVANNEX Foot Rest Dead Pedal Cover difficult to install?

Installation is straightforward. The Foot Rest Dead Pedal surface must be cleaned before installation. The adhesive on the back of the Foot Rest Dead Pedal surface is removed, the cover is properly aligned and then pressed into place.

Does the EVANNEX Performance Foot Rest Dead Pedal Cover change the feel of the dead petal?

Not really. Driving characteristics and feel remain virtually the same. It’s the look that is changed for the better.

Are tools required to do the installation?

No tools are required.

Are mechanical fasteners required.

No. The EVANNEX Performance Foot Rest Dead Pedal Cover is adhered to the dead pedal surface using very high bond adhesives.

Is the installation of the EVANNEX Performance Foot Rest Dead Pedal Cover permanent? That is, can I remove it if I want to?

Although installation of Foot Rest Dead Pedal covers is intended to be permanent, you can remove it if you want. However, because we use very strong adhesives, they must be peeled off and there may be minor damage to the underlying surface along with potential minor damage to the Foot Rest Dead Pedal cover itself.

Is the dead pedal cover an exact match for the performance pedal covers?

The Foot Rest Dead Pedal covers and the performance pedal covers have the same visual appearance, but they are not a matching set. The materials used, construction details, and the surface finish for the two products are slightly different. When they are examined closely, they do not represent a perfect "match." However, when placed in the driver's compartment in the space provided, they appear to be visually identical from a distance and serve to improve the overall look of your interior.

Will the EVANNEX Foot Rest Dead Pedal Cover for Model S fit right-hand drive vehicles?

It can be made to work. However, the small cutout indentation on the lower left hand corner (for LHD) vehicles will be on the ‘wrong’ side and placement may have to be adjusted slightly.

Will the EVANNEX Foot Rest Dead Pedal Cover for Model S fit all model years?

Some Model S vehicles delivered in 2018-2019 have a shorter foot rest length. Before you order your Foot Rest Dead Pedal Cover, measure the length of the foot rest surface along the incline. If the length of the foot rest is less than 14 inches (36cm), our Foot Rest Dead Pedal Cover will NOT fit properly and should NOT be ordered.

What is the Return Policy for EVANNEX Performance Foot Rest Dead Pedal Covers?

EVANNEX Performance Foot Rest Dead Pedal Covers can be returned for a refund with 30 days of purchase, provided they are undamaged and the adhesive backing has not been removed. The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser, and restocking fees may apply. For details, visit our 'Return Policy' page.

100% would recommend, FAST and PORTABLE
The Anker 65W 3-Port Fast Compact Foldable USB-C Charger is a really nice charger overall. It has foldable prongs and 3 different ports, which makes it super useful for charging multiple devices at once, especially for college students or travel setups. It’s also really portable and easy to throw into a backpack but hefty in quality. The charging speed is excellent too. I can charge my MacBook from around 30% to 65% in about an hour. It does get a little warm while charging, but it cools down well and has never been an issue for me.

Compact, lots of power, great for travel.
I tested it at full power. It does what its advertised to do. At full power it does get fairly warm, not near warm enough to be a hazard. It can't be covered up, It may overheat if it's covered with stuff. I got it for travel. It will charge my computer, tablet and phone just fine. It shares the 65W, so charging of each device may slow as you plug in more devices

The Only Charger You’ll Ever Need!
The Anker 735 Charger (GaNPrime 65W) is a total game-changer for anyone tired of carrying multiple "bricks" for their laptop, phone, and earbuds. It packs a massive amount of power into a surprisingly small, foldable design. What I liked: True All-in-One: With two USB-C ports and one USB-A port, it can fast-charge a MacBook Air, an iPhone, and AirPods all at the same time. Intelligent Power Allocation: It uses PowerIQ 4.0 technology, which automatically detects the power needs of each connected device and adjusts the output in real-time for the fastest possible charge. Ultra-Compact: Thanks to GaN (Gallium Nitride) technology, it is about 53% smaller than a standard 67W laptop charger. The foldable plug makes it perfect for tossing into a travel bag or pocket. ActiveShield 2.0: I really appreciate the peace of mind that comes with its advanced temperature monitoring, which checks the heat over 3 million times a day to protect your expensive devices. Note: To get the full 65W speed for your laptop, make sure you are using a high-quality USB-C cable rated for 100W! Whether you’re working from a coffee shop or traveling internationally, this is the most reliable and efficient charging block on the market. It’s a bit of an investment, but the build quality and convenience are worth every cent.

The 65W version is just as solid as the 47W I already own
I bought the 47W Anker Nano charger a while back and loved it, so when I needed a bit more power I grabbed this 65W version. Honestly, the experience is almost identical - which is exactly what I was hoping for. Same compact puck design, same foldable prongs that make it perfect for travel, same Anker reliability. I've been using it with my Samsung Z Flip 7 and it charges incredibly fast on fast charge mode. The phone recognizes it immediately and you can watch the percentage climb. But what I really appreciate about stepping up to the 65W model is the extra headroom. When I need to charge my laptop or other more demanding devices, this charger handles them without breaking a sweat. The 47W is great for phones and smaller tablets, but having that extra wattage gives me more flexibility. The folding prongs continue to be one of my favorite features. It's such a simple thing but makes a huge difference when you're tossing it in a bag. No snagging, no scratching other items. The size is still impressively small for the amount of power it delivers. This is one of those products that just works. No fuss, no weird charging issues, just plug it in and go. If you already have the 47W version and need more power, this is a no-brainer upgrade. If you're choosing between the two, I'd say go with the 65W unless you're absolutely certain you'll only ever charge phones and tablets. The peace of mind of having extra power available is worth it.
